Post: I can answer your 1st question - yes, Quadro K4xxx is supported. I have run long runs on K4000 and K4200. But these GPUs have a weak cooling and thus reach high temperatures, so if you want to run GPUGrid there, make sure you have additional cooling. |

Post: Just in case somebody is interested how some exotic GPUs perform, I did a run on a Tesla K20c: e4s166_e3s4f169-NOELIA_27x3-0-2-RND0924_0 https://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=13938855 Runtime: 24,097 s GPU load: ~95% Temperature: ~60 C Power: ~120 W For comparison, my 750 Ti does the same task in 40,300 s. Sure, Teslas are better in DPFP. The only such app I tried was Milkyway, which however uses OpenCL, so it's not ideal. The performance there was comparable to a RADEON HD7970/280X. |

Post: Wow, finally an OpenCL app, so GPUGrid will deserve it's name ;-) I'm curious how the HD 280(X)/290(X) will compete here against NVIDIA's top cards.. No tasks here either. GPU is 280X.

It's all about people, our nature. BTW, my RAC at vLHC@Home is ~2500, which is a really good score (15. place) :-D And I believe it's a good and useful thing. Not like those empty numbers at BU, or some other projects, that just waste power. |

I was lucky, since the fan on my 650 Ti died, so I RMA'd it and was hoping that there won't be a replacement possible ;-) And indeed, there wasn't, so I got a new 750 Ti in exchange :-) I like that card, it's really low power, low temperature and very nice performance for such a piece. |
