JOIN GPUGRID discord
(Message 62368)
Posted 10 Apr 2025 by Speedy Post: If you want to use Discord go for it. I will not be joining. For the time being I have removed the project from my list. When/if there is a consistent supply of work for Windows I may add the project back to my list. For reasons I am unsure of the GPUgrid folder in my project folder has nothing in it it's completely empty |

BOINC client shows 3x GPUGRID
(Message 62304)
Posted 30 Mar 2025 by Speedy Post: I had the same issue. I ended up completely deleting the account from Bam and I also deleted the GPU grid folder out of the Boinc project folder in my program data directory. Once I had deleted the GPU grid folder from the Boinc project folder the line in my project list in the manager disappeared. I added GPU grid through the tools menu under the new GPU grid url https://gpugrid.net/gpugrid now I find that the project folder is empty.. This could be simply because there is currently no Windows applications or no work for Windows. Hopefully you find this helpful |

Posted 4 Mar 2023 by Speedy Post: task ran to completion in about an hour. but hit an error and threw it all away because the file size is too big. No it's not a waste in my opinion because you found something out. You found that "the file size was too big" so it can be corrected so it doesn't happen again hopefully. :-) |

I don't see any thing suggesting this project is nearing the end to "completing the crunching stage of the project" however I do believe they are entering the open quote home "stretch" on "DS3" to bring this thread back on topic I have not received any D3RBanditTest tasks (am aware they are hard to come by) |

Einstein@Home IRC Bruce Allen director of the project was/is going to allow lots of data to be processed on one of their servers. Unfortunately I cannot find the information relating to this, I am sure it on the Seti message boards somewhere |

Posted 9 May 2020 by Speedy Post: @Keith, I hear what you are saying, I was not aware the new aray had been brought. My suggestion would be to use it when Seti is back up and running if it is usable or salad and use the proceeds for the project, or maybe they could be donated to the other project that was/is helping Seti out @Retvari Zoltan yes .fair enough, I just thought they would have made a note in this thread when it was happening that was all |

Posted 9 May 2020 by Speedy Post: @Keith I have to disagree with you. Even though I did not donate the money can go to supporting the small team that worked to keep volunteers supplied with work. @Erich56 I hear what you are saying in regards to your GPU's calling off/heating up. I wish you all the best with your decision whether you stay or go. In the event you do go (which I hope you don't) :) it would mean the discs won't fill up quite as quickly. I have not seen on a note from admin since 2nd of May (New Zealand time) saying the server's have been suspended. It looks very much like they have been just no comment about it |
