GPUGRID.net is a fully academic project. Its researchers belong to public research institutions, including the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona (UPF), Institut Municipal d'Investigació Mèdica (IMIM) and others, as shown by the logos below the forum pages.

We disseminate the results of our experiments in scholarly journals of high-impact in biophysics; here you can find a list of our publications.

Funding is provided by research grants assigned on the criteria of peer-review. Sources of funding are national and international research agencies, including the European Community, the Spanish Government, and others.

The group belongs to the Research Unit on Biomedical Informatics (GRIB), which is hosted at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, a prominent research environment where researchers of several disciplines and institutes work closely together.

De toda la potencia q tiene este proyecto asignado, ¿realmente se saca partido de ella?. Quiero decir que tantas unidades, tanto trabajo luego se usa para algo o ¿muchas tareas acaban en la papelera? A veces me da la impresión (no sólo en este proyecto) que a pesar de toda la potencia nunca se acaba y q a veces meten tareas de más para mantener a la gente entretenida y así no perder usuarios para cuando se necesiten.
