The Server Status shows over 2400 WU's available & everything running but after getting just 1 WU on some of my Box's I can't get any more. Even my i7 with 4 GPU Cores has only been able to get 1 WU so far in the last 3 hours ??? |

Same here. I had 4 WU's that uploaded / reported fine after the outage. But it only downloaded 2 new ones on my Q6600. It looks like others are able to get new WU's because I see the # of WU's to be sent dropped by a couple thousand over the past 2 hours. |

You are lucky. I can't get the server to send me anything at all. Just says-no work sent to every request |

On one of the boxes that refuses to get work, I reinstalled Boinc with no improvement. The only issue that I can think of is that the project parameters has decided that the boxes are unreliable........and won't send new work. mike |

Obviously the problems are related to the weekend outage, possibly with the server presently being overwhelmed with requests for more work? When such things have happened on other projects it normally takes some time for things to settle down and the supply of WU's to improve. Perhaps a good time to consider a parellel GPU Boinc project? |

It is a continuing issue from the weekend outage...see here. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. The problem is that sometimes if you do that it takes even longer for you to start to get work ... because you may be so loaded with tasks from the other project that BOINC decides to NOT even try to get work from GPU Grid. Anyway, at least we are in recovery ... and I sure hope it does not take long ... :) I pushed up all my work and I did manage to get all systems working but one ... |

It's taken til now for me to get any WUs and no credit granted for the last one which was I guess late due to the outage :-( at least it's good to see the GPU temperature creep up again ! :-) |

I am still getting this: 14/04/2009 19:38:58 GPUGRID Sending scheduler request: Requested by account manager. 14/04/2009 19:38:58 GPUGRID Requesting new tasks 14/04/2009 19:39:03 GPUGRID Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 14/04/2009 19:39:03 GPUGRID Message from server: No work sent 14/04/2009 19:39:03 GPUGRID Message from server: Full-atom molecular dynamics on Cell processor is not available for your type of computer. 14/04/2009 19:39:03 GPUGRID Message from server: CUDA app exists for Full-atom molecular dynamics but no CUDA work requested Any clues ? I have SETI running on the GPU at present, which has happened a lot (I split the gpu 50-50 SETI-GPUGRID, manual switching) and there is a cache of 500 SETI CUDA WUs, thats about 100 higher than I usually have. Hasnt been an issue before, but the above did show shortly after I topped up the SETI cache to current levels - could it be that BOINC thinks I have enough SETI work? I even tried setting preferences to a large cache for GPUGRID request, no joy, still the same message. Regards Zy |

I just checked and I now have 4 WU's on my Q6600. I was working with 2 only for the past 8 hours. It appears fixed from my perspective. We'll see more once I sent back some of these, to see if I continue to get more. |

Sorted - I needed to suspend SETI CUDA else it would not download a GPUGRID WU. Two WUs downloading now, will be crunching them shortly :) Regards Zy |
