I have a 9800 GT that I normally keep set to no new tasks, but for the last couple of days GPUGrid sends me work when I do not ask for it. 4/4/2009 12:03:08 PM GPUGRID Sending scheduler request: Requested by project. It has done this many times. I also tried to set the Home venue on GPUGrid to limit the amount of work that would be sent, but even though the PC is not on the Home venue on other projects, it took the Cache limits from GPUGrid Home and transferred it to all projects, thus making it so I can not get work from the other projects. Is this behavior from GPUGrid or a bug in BOINC? I am running 6.6.10 on this machine. I have little problem continually aborting GPUGrid tasks, but it shouldn't work this way. |

That's a problem with earlier BOINC 6.6.x Alpha versions... Either downgrade to 6.5.0, or upgrade to 6.6.20, and the bug should go away. pixelicious.at - my little photoblog |

Thanks, I 'll give 6.6.20 a try and see what happens. I'm knee deep in my taxes right now, so I probably won't get a chance to try it until tomorrow. |

And it's normal that the project in which you changed settings the last time passes these to all others. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
