Does Seti support 32 bit Linux via a CUDA device? No, not yet. Although someone developed an application that's supposed to work. |

Upgrade to 64bit. You know you want too. Ive been running 64bit Ubuntu for ages now. Not a huge difference other than i can now use all my RAM |

You can also still run 32-bit apps with the "linux32" command, which forces things into 32-bit mode (like Quake 3 Arena, for instance). I'm SuSe 11.1 and 64-bits, and there don't seem to be any drawbacks other than some 32-bit apps need the previously mentioned "linux32" command. Mike Doerner |

Yeah its a reinstall.... You can always put /home in a separate partition to make life easier to reinstall. That was my solution....still a pain though. |
