I am new to GPUGRID although I am a long time BOINC member running World Community Grid. I just bought a GTX260 so I thought I would join GPUGRID on March 9th. This site shows 29K credit, but when I look at allprojectstatus.com, I see no indicaiton that I have recieved any BOINC credit for GPUGRID. It still shows 100% world community Grid and the totals for the one computer connected to GPUGRID show no indication of any additional credit. In fact the average of the computer seems to have gone down, becasue it is QUAD and only three CPUs are processing World Community Grid at 100% and one processor is near zero and seems dedicated to GPUGRID. Am I looking at the wrong stuff? |

Have you tried to look at for instance boincstats site All projects run their own stats so for a overall view there are many great total stats sites I personally use Boincstats the most. Where you can add them into one statistic and overview all progress. But then again there are many to choose from |

Have you used the same amail address for GPUGRID like you used for WCGs account? If not, you should change it to the same on both projects, because your problem probably is that you have two different CPIDs - http://www.boinc-wiki.info/CPID. pixelicious.at - my little photoblog |

Regarding one core being reserved for GPU-Grid: that is not necessary any more and I think 6.4.5 and/or some other 6.4.-series BOINC clients fail to load all CPU cores + GPU-Grid. 6.5.0 does the trick, whereas the 6.6.x series may have other problems (still in development). You are right. I did use different e:mail addresses. IS there a way to combine them or do I need to start all over. I thought if they were running the same copy of BOINC they would be tied together. |

I am running BOINC 6.4.7. Before running GPUGRID all four processors sat at 25% on World Community Grid tasks. Now that I am running GPUGRID only three CPUs are showing 25% for world community grid and the fourth shows 24% System Idle Process. This seems to be a waste. I like using my GTX 260 for GPUGRID, but I would like to use all four CPUs for World Community Grid instead of one sitting idle. Is there a way to fix this. |

Change the e-mail addresses to the same one. Hit update on the various computers and wait. Over time the machines and accounts should synch up. |

WCG is notorious difficult trying to get hosts to line up (I am not sure it is possible). Probably easier to change e-mail address at other projects and leave WCG e-mail address as it currently is. Phoneman1 |

Thanks for the help. I made the e:mail address for GPUGRID and WCC the same and the results are starting to combine. The results still look a little strange because Boincstats just started showing GPUGRID but when I look at the deatiled host status, the machine that is running GPUGRID has disappeared from the list. It was there yesterday. Allprojectstats now shows GPUGRID and the machine it is running on still shows in the host list, but does not show the GPU work. I may have to give it another 24 hours to let everything sync up. Where do I get BOINC 6.5.0. 6.4.7 is listed as current edition. Thanks Mitfh |

Thanks again for everyones help. I had trouble downloading 6.5 but I did download and install 6.6. It fixed all of my problems and seems to be working ok with GPUGRID and WCG. WCG seems flakey at times when running unsupported (by WCG) releases of BOINC, but so far so good. - Mitch |

Which one of the 6.6 series? The newest? All older ones have (more or less important) known issues, not sure about the latest one ;) MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

Which one of the 6.6 series? The newest? All older ones have (more or less important) known issues, not sure about the latest one ;) 6.6.15 is reported to not handle down projects well ... and some other issues... Still does "boom and bust" queuing too ... |
