It seems that for every valid WU, I get an error for the next. Host ID: 24564 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ [x86 Family 15 Model 107 Stepping 2] 3MB RAM Win Vista 32 Home Basic x86 Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) Boinc 6.4.7 GeForce 9800 GT 512MB Nvidia 182.08 I can also only run 1 Boinc task when running a GPUgrid task. Any suggestions? |

Try Boinc 6.5.0. Download the version for your OS from here. Phoneman1 |

I don't suppose it's the BOINC, but worth a try anyway. Which driver do you use? And a shot into the wild: could it be that you switch your PC off over night and the 1st WU of each day has a pretty good chance for success, while the second one is likely to fail? Maybe some serious heat build-up? MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

Machine is on 24/7. Driver is Nvidia 182.08. It is a relative new machine. I will add another fan to it to see if that helps. |

Or leave the side panel off, testwise. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

Are you running any temperature (etc) utils? If not download these two before you buy anything - there are legions of them, these two will do for now until you settle on ones you like: Core cpu temperature: http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ Core GPU Temperature (amongst lots of other facts): http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1333/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.3.2.html Run them whenever you want to do a check of the cpu/gpu temperature, then compare against the cpu/card gpu specs on board/cpu suppliers Site. If close to/over the spec temp, then another fan/replacement fan - might - be in order. If it shows over the spec maximum temperature - stop processing WUs immediately until we can deduce whats going on, that will reduce the core temperatures back to safe levels for the moment.
