I'm finding that I have to hit 'reset' for GPUGrid for the project to download new tasks. I didn't have any tasks and had a couple of loops through the regular project communication with:

GPUGRID - Sending scheduler request: Requested by project. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
GPUGRID - Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

After a reset I pick up new tasks and everything works fine until I complete those tasks.

I have my resource share set to just over 25%, running 6.5.0 x64, on WinXP x64, dual proc/dual core AMD's, dual 9600 GT's in NON-SLI config.

Any ideas? :)

Thanks,

Jim

As opposed to hitting reset, you might want to just try suspending all other projects temporarily. Generally, that forces GPUGrid to "phone home" and get more work.

I know this doesn't solve your issue, but I see you are running BOINC 6.5.0 which I believe is the most well behaved across the board. That's what I am running (though I have the 32-bit version). I have not had any issues getting new work recently.

If the suspension of other projects does trigger GPUGrid to get more work, maybe try upping the resource share of GPUGrid in relation to the other projects.

I'll give these a try when the current WU's finish up.

Thanks for the replies!

If you want it to automatically fetch new work you should increase you resource share NOW so that debt will build as you work on tasks. Otherwise, you will have a delay while LTD builds and no work running.
