i was allmost 80% compltete on my first gpugrip work unit when it was aboerted The task shows "Client detached". That normally means that either you hit the detach button in Boinc Manager or Boinc View with the Gpu project selected or you did something similar on BAM! or GridRepublic. Another possibility is you signed up to GPUgrid with Boinc Manager and then used BAM! to join other projects but omitted to join GPUgrid on BAM! However, I see you got another task less than two hours later so you must have re-joined. Phoneman1 |

i was allmost 80% compltete on my first gpugrip work unit when it was aboerted The project will abort tasks when those tasks are known to fail. Though I have not noted them canceling a task in progress ... can you indicate which task is the one that had an issue? If it was the one that is showing client detached, then the explanation by Phoneman1 pertains ... |

If you don't want to loose WUs due to errors caused by overclocking I'd like to redirect you to this fine post. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

"Fine post"? Awww, you flatter me. I think I'm blushing ... Unless you upped the clocks by about 50% over stock, I'm thinking your current WU is a different size than the other one. There are at least 2 different WU tasks that GPUGrid hands out, each takes a different amount of time to complete. |
