I've tried resetting the project but alas all new tasks won't start and I don't know why.
I'm using boinc 6.4.6 and I've a Nvidia 8600 GT.

It worked fine for weeks.

any idea?

Try BOINC Manager 6.5.0?

It works for me ...

In fact, this morning, I updated today to Boinc 6.4.7 (for windows) and it works fine now!
It's the new recommended version.

version 6.5.0? I didn't see it for download.

You have to go to the "master list" of downloads. The easiest way to get there is to copy the link shown, paste it in the link box in your browser and erase the file name listed, then hit return ... the link will look like it ends in "/dl/" if you do it right. This lists EVERY version of BOINC released. Find the appropriate file name and download the appropriate file.

If you feel REAL adventurous, you can hazard the latest development version. Reading the change logs it does look like they are zeroing in on a version that may actually support GPUs well ... as always, remember, using a version other than what UCB or a project recommends is at your own risk.

This problem occurs now and then on my PCs as well. Up to now restarting BOINC always helped.

Well guys i must say i have very little problems with 6.5.0 at all
I use and test ofcourse every version but untill now this version does it all without errors while the newest not even work right with GPU applications so better not use them ... its gonne mess up i tested allready.
