In the first of its kind ever since I joined this project, and only for today, my computer freezes and shows random colorer blocks on the screen whenever I try to play video files in normal or full screen mode. I've suspended the project and now I can play video files again. This is really strange because the only noticeable change I've made is upgrade to the latest nvidia 182.06, which was fine for a few days except today. Heat issues is unchanged and is still below 80c. What am I missing? task vj21065-sh2_us_12-2-10-sh2_us_12830000_0 is currently suspended, is it possible that some tasks are not as friendly as others? GTX 280 on windows xp. --------- Update 10 minutes later, now without playing any video after 5 minutes the entire screen will turn white, hard restarting also keeps it white, a shutdown is the only way to clear it! I've suspended that task and will try another. --------- Update, my suspension was correct, here is the culprit work unit: http://www.gpugrid.net/workunit.php?wuid=257919 .. Other units are not crashing my system. |
