Hi... I've seen where sometimes GPUgrid.net pulls in tasks on my machine even when I have the project set to not allow new tasks. Also, when it does this, no messages appear in the message tab to show the request and download. The task simply appears and starts to run. I thought it was a BOINC issue on the new version 6.6.7 and posted to their forum. Here's the reply they gave back: This is a scheduler problem. The GPUGrid scheduler ignores the client's preferences of no new work and sends work anyway. GPUGrid will have to update their scheduler to the fixed version. ____________ Jord Any chance this update will happen soon? Thanks. |

This is interesting. I'd guess it's got something to do with the server update for the 6.6.x BOINC clients, as it was working fine previously. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
