Yes, 181.22 works best with XPpro 64.

Update done. BIOS 181.22
I can hardly wait to see what it'll do.
Can anybody see my computer now?

Thanks! Thanks again to all of you for helping me out. I really don't like BOINC 6.5.0 though. It doesn't shut down right. I can close the manager but the science keeps on running. I've checked the box to shut down the science when I close the manager but it's still not right. The only way for me to shut them down is by going into task manager or by restarting the computer. Generally speaking though, the only time I ever shut down boinc on that system is after an update that requires a restart anyway.

Um, that is the way it is supposed to work ...

The Manager is only to look at the operation of BOINC and the Science Applications ... you can use the "Advanced" menu to shut down the client that the BOINC Manager is connected to ... on windows then you can close the BOINC Manager and all will be gone.

Opening BOINC Manager will restart the BOINC Client and the science applications.

I dont think I explained very well. Clicking on X should only close manager and leave BOINC projects running.
Clicking on file and then exit should shut down client and projects.
By doing that now it brings up a dialogue box saying If i also want to stop running the science applications when I exit the manager to choose from the following options.
I checked the box for it to stop running science apps when exiting the manager but it wont do it.
The only way I can shut down the science is to go into my task manager and do it there or do a system restart.

Ha! He be right ... I just tried it ... they broke something ...

6.5.0 also does not shut down the science applications when closing.

Did you try the advanced menu option to close/stop the client?

That still seems to work for me ...

I think you'll find they have made deliberate changes in this area. But with so many changes it is hard to tell what is a bug and what is a planned change.

Remember some versions did not go forward when the second level version number changed so features you might have had in earlier versions don't appear in later ones but may appear again with yet later versions. These shutdown changes got tied up in one of these on-off-on sequences.

Well, I posted a note to the Dev list so that they can fix it or ignore it as they choose ... but,it is a rather glaring issue in that it is very noticeable that the Manager does not do what it says it is going to do ...

Just noticed something else a bit odd. This is new. When I first started GPUGRID when boinc started it showed 3 CPU's and 1 CUDA task running. However there were 4 other tasks running and 1 CUDA. Now it says 0.17 CPU's and 1 CUDA. There are still 4 other tasks running besides the CUDA.
