3 0f the last 5 Wu's this Box ran ended in an Error, it's running a EVGA 260 (216 Shader) Super Clocked V-Card. It ran okay for a few days then had 1 Error a few days ago & now like I said 3 out of the last 5 Wu's Erred. I can't turn the Overclock down on it as it's running in a Linux only Box & I have no way to control the Card Speed. But the V-Card is not running as fast as my BFG 260 Cards are & their not Erring Wu's so I don't know if it's the card or the Wu's themselves. I did set my Preferences a few days ago to get Test Wu's but I don't know if these are Test Wu's that are Erring or their Regular Wu's ... ??? |

Have you tried "nvclock" ..? This is version 0.8 beta3 http://www.icewalkers.com/Linux/Software/532590/NVClock.html Run the 'nvclock_gtk' executable... I run it mostly to control my GPU fan speed. But it does have o/c ability. Consciousness: That annoying time between naps...... Experience is a wonderful thing: it enables you to recognize a mistake every time you repeat it. |

As far as I know the NvClock Utility doesn't work with the 260 or 280 Series of Cards & Linux, at least it doesn't work in my Box's. It did worked with my 8800GT OC Card for setting the Fan Speed only though. I had the 0.8 BETA3 NvClock installed already & it won't do anything, not even tell me what kind of Card it its other than Unknown Nvidia Card !!! It looks like the Temp's are getting up to about 74c-75c, warm but not overly warm I would say ... ??? ... I have a another Linux Box with a 260 BFG running faster than the EVGA is @ 76c - 77c & it's not Erring Wu's. |
