Since today, I have that errors on my hosts.

http://www.gpugrid.net/results.php?hostid=16414

http://www.gpugrid.net/results.php?hostid=17091

I tried to update my boinc to 6.5.0 => No change
I tried to change my Nvidia drivers by the last beta => No change

I reset Gpugrid => No change.
I reset my computer too => guess what ... No change ....

Maybe I have to remove and reinstall completely Boinc...

If somebody have good advises...

Thanks ;)

Edit : Both of them are using XP64

On both of your hosts the errors started exactly when the app switched from 6.55 to 6.56 - ouch!

And probably unrelated: your GTX 260 was giving you quite a lot of errors before, especially these "initialization error". There's a separate thread for this problem. It has not yet been confirmed what causes them, but I suspect overclocking and your card is (factory?)-overclocked as well.

Edit: sorry, I think I mixed that up with the "Cuda error: Kernel [frc_sum_kernel_angle] failed in file 'force.cu' in line 223 : unspecified launch failure."-error

Yes , I did not notice but it's with the new appkication...

Concerning my GTX 260s , they were very stable before, just the 'out of memory' errors.

And you are right, they are factory OC too.

You're right, most errors follow an out of memory error. So nevermind what I said above.. I take everything back and claim the opposite ;)

This application uses a new driver feature. Try to use the most recent driver:
180.xx if possible

Is this error happening on any OS other than WinXP/2003 64bit?

Same here on Win XP64. Every WU starts ok, crunches to about 1.5% then it bombs out with this error. 6.55 ran perfectly (and using it I was able to test 180.84 drivers). What is the procedure for reverting back to 6.55?

BR,

It's being rolled back for now (link).

... not only XP 64 is affected ...

Every 6.56 WU crashs on my XP 32 box with a 8800GT. Now I have to wait one day to get another WU. The driver is 180.84, BM is 6.5.0.

But I have different failures, some with line 212, some line 528, some line 547 ...

It's done by now, no error. Not sure.. is this good or bad news? ;)
Either they fixed something, which is good for everyone, or the error will be more difficult to reproduce.
