My HP i7 machine with RTX 3080 running 1 task has as stated a Hot Spot of 102.6 C; BUT the "GPU Temp" is only 69.3 C. Should I be concerned; the two fans are both running at 97%, The fan noise is very irritating. Of course the probably only solution is shutting down GPU processing, and with the lack of quality(personal opinion) other work available I really hate to shut down. I cannot help but notice that the availability of distributed computing tasks has markedly decreased; very measurably so!! BET Texas USA |

Power limit the card with something like MSI Afterburner. You can probably cut 20% for a much smaller percent in performance. Less power = less heat. |
