Within the past few hours, I have been experiencing major problems downloading tasks on all of my hosts.
Does anyone have the same problem? So maybe there is something wrong with the download server?

I'm good; no issues.

I receive tasks too, save and sound running project.

Btw. All servers are green.

now everything seems to be okay again.

The situation before was: the tasks started to download, with extremely low speed and stopping inbetween many times, and finally erroring out, saying "download failed".
No idea what was the reason. Tasks from other projects got downloaded without any problems.

of course all the parameters are set properly. I didn't change anything before the download problems started.

Just temporary interwebs congestion in your case likely. Some router, somewhere was flaking out.

Or you could have asked for work when they were doing some heavy workunit/result database deletion around 2200 UTC yesterday and 1500 UTC today.

Response time spiked to 12-15 seconds around those events. Might have caused your slowdown.
