GpuGrid is using

version 1 captcha which, as pointed out by jimbo, is TOTALLY OBSOLETE AS OF MARCH 2018

This makes it difficult [impossible] to edit profile which contravenes the recently passed EU laws concerning use of personal data and the right of users to remove it.

I am hoping that you can upgrade to V2 or V3 captchas before someone complains to the EU and gets your site shut down as they cannot removed [or edit] their personal information. BTW, google says it is free to use their captcha.

This thread was initiated just over two weeks ago.
At that time, a PM was sent to three volunteer admins.
Now, perhaps it may be too much to expect a resolution in
15 days (although the matter would only take likely 20-30 minutes to correct).
However, to ignore totally the matter is, to say the least, very rude.
Perhaps the U. can snub all the GPUGrid Users and EU data regs ... Perhaps the U. should just buy it's own supercomputer... And then you could just delete all Users' data. Voilà!, Problem disappears!

Yet, I guess GUPGrid has much bigger fish to fry, as the last 25 tasks my NVIDIA GTX 'ran' bombed out.
So I stopped taking any more tasks since they ALL had eight (8) compute errors and had "Too many errors ('may' have bug)" :)

Yes profiles can no longer be created. This part of the server software is broken.

If you wish to delete your profile can you please try this page of the website:
https://gpugrid.net/delete_profile.php

The BOINC website user initiated account delete method is not supported in the current server software version.

If you wish to delete an account it will need to be done by a GPUGRID admin.
