Looks to be an OS issue. Some ideas.
Do other projects run OK?
Has Windows done a recent update? Reboot.
Are you running anti-virus software which is stopping it running?
Have you checked for corrupted files? ie use command prompt with sfc /scannow

Other projects are working fine, this is the only GPU project I have setup here though, will test another to be sure.

OS is up to date, /sfc doesn't show any issues.
Rebooted multiple times between the 3 units.

Running ESET for AV.

your AV may be blocking the application. a lot of AV programs do not like how some BOINC applications operate. maybe especially so with GPUGRID since it's not a binary, but just a script that runs. AV may be flagging it and blocking it.

try disabling your AV. if it works then, then you could try to whitelist your BOINC directories in the AV settings so that it doesnt monitor them.

could also be an issue with the windows application/scripts from GPUGRID. far more issues on windows hosts than linux. the majority of resends that I'm processing are coming from windows hosts that failed in some way.

Thanks, I have whitelisted the data folder and I am testing GPU units from 3 other projects at the moment, will report back when I get another GPU grid unit to try.

I had the same issue with a RTX4080 under Windows that works perfectly with other projects such as PrimeGrid, SRBase or WCG OPNG. The same machine workes fine with ATMbeta after installing Linux.
ATMbeta v1.09 does not work on RTX40X0 under Windows.

i think it's more a Windows app issue than a 40-series issue. the app works with 40-series. the app just doesnt work at all on some windows machines.

meme avec des rtx 4090 je vous conseille de faire ce réglage qui n'est pas nécessaire sous linux.
Lorsque j'étais sous windows cela a marché pour moi et je n'avais plus d'erreur avec une gtx 1650 et une rtx 4060.
Depuis je suis passé sous linux mint.

even with 4090 rtx I advise you to make this setting which is not necessary under linux.

Sous windows 10 tout fonctionnait bien.

last thing I advise you to use windows 10 rather than windows 11 because with windows 11, I had a lot of GPUGRID errors even with a new installation.
Under windows 10 everything worked well.
