abort the upload in the transfers tab.

do not abort the task. just the upload. it will report normally after that.

Simply abort the transfer of the output file which won't upload. It ends in 9, and is about 891 MB in size.

Thanks for the help. I aborted the transfer. Is this an issue in which the file did upload correctly, but somewhere in the upload process the message was not received that the upload was completed?

the upload is too big for the project servers. the admins have never been able to either raise the limit of the upload server, or adjust the application to not write such huge files. anytime the file is larger than ~500MB or so we run into this problem.

Just go ahead and abort the transfer in the Manager's Transfers tab.

You will get credit for the result anyway.

Only one small part of the task result upload is too big to transfer.

The rest of the science result already uploaded and produced good science.
