How is possible to receive only one WU at a time ? I have a GEforce 8600 GT (I know this is too slow) and now the only way is to rapidly stop new WU after receiving one. This is not easy, every time I receive more than one Unit so I have to abort some of them because otherwise will start just before the WU deadline. I hope in the next year I'll change my box (and my GEforce card - the future new GTX 295 ??) |

How is possible to receive only one WU at a time ? Starting with 6.4.2 and up and a new server setting, you should not get more than you can complete within deadline. It has not been fully tested yet, but changes to accomodate issues like this have already been under development. You might try one one the latest clients 6.4.2 or 6.4.3 to see if your situation improves. If not a smaller work load setting may help, so BOINC does not requset too much work so you have a smaller queue. Try a setting like "0.01", that should, in theory, only give you one task and then not get another until only a short time, like 1 hour or so before the running one finishes. |

I'm using the 6.4.3 and the problem is under this version. With the 6.3.x no problem |
