Send message Joined: 21 Feb 20 Posts: 1116 Credit: 40,839,470,595 RAC: 6,423 Level Scientific publications	Message 57362 - Posted: 23 Sep 2021, 15:44:06 UTC - in response to Message 57361. it's a common bug that tasks can fail if restarted. usually you'll get an error saying that you cannot restart a task on a different device, even sometimes (but more rarely) on a single GPU system. did you install updates or update the video drivers between restarting BOINC? sometimes even that can make the app think something is different. the best way to make sure this does not happen is to not interrupt running tasks. don't restart BOINC and don't restart the system. This option does not change anything in the app, it changes the way the BOINC manager calculate the remaining time displayed.
