For the past few months no tasks? Used to have continuous task(s) running.

This project always seems to have intermittent work.

but there has been a good amount of the long running tasks available the last few days. the project admins seem to be adding them at a relatively slow pace however, and they are scooped up pretty quickly as a result.

I would make sure your systems are checking the project often for new work.
