So do we get any explanation of why the server, including the web site, was completely gone for so long today? |

I'm curious, too. I was unable to upload from about 17 Dec 2200 UTC until 18 Dec 0930 UTC. And the website was "not found". Did anyone else have this issue or was there some local internet glitch between me and the project?? Thanks, Win |

That problem has existed for years and unrelated. Browsing connected to a VPN server in Europe has resulted in a more consistent website. https://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=4806#49955 |

I understand there was a storage issue earlier. But I think that was fixed(?). It’s a consequence of running your systems from the same location/IP-address. There is a timeout that prevents too many connections at the same time. The website and project servers are run from the same system and the timeout from one impacts the other. Others have theorized that it’s a DDOS protection mechanism.

Read the Number Crunching or News forums for threads about work. The project has been out of work for at least a week now. No news about when work will be available again. Monitor the forums for posts. Or check the server stats page. https://www.gpugrid.net/server_status.php |
