I re-joined with GPUGRD in the last couple of days and I'm repeatedly getting the following line in my event log even though I my task list on the web site shows no tasks ended in error.

05/25/2020 08:29:56 | GPUGRID | Tasks won't finish in time: BOINC runs 12.3% of the time; computation is enabled 99.4% of that

The system is an i7/7700K, 16GB mem, Win 10 Pro x64 (build: 19041.264), 2 x NVidia GTX 1070 FE, BOINC 7.16.5 (x64). BOINC is set to use 80% of CPU & 100% of time.

Also are there any arguments I can insert into a cc_config.xml to improve performance on the GPUs?

At this post there might be one possible explanation for the message you are getting.
Summarizing: Please, try at BOINC Manager preferences to reduce "Store at least n days of work" to a value lower than 5 (this is the usual deadline for GPUGRID WUs) and check if it helps.

Excellent & Many Thanks!! I reduced the "Store at least n days of work" to 4, and did a manual update. I immediately received 2 additional work units - 2 in the pipe and 2 in the mag. The event log line no longer appears. Again many thanks!
