((Reposted here where it should be.)) Hi, BOINC is complaining that I'm using an old URL for GPUGrid (the plain HTTP one), and asks me to remove the project and re-add it. All well and fine, except that I *cannot* remove the project from BOINC Manager because the "Remove Project" button is greyed out. How can I resolve this? Is it just a simple case of digging in the BOINC configuration and removing the project files by hand? Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, i7 7820X (8 Hyperthread cores), NVidia RTX 2080Ti. I also notice that the GPU FAQ at http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=2507 is a little out of date, since it does not mention my higher-than-high end RTX 2080Ti. (Yeah, I know, I'm showing off, but it's a way nice card, but the FAQ page doesn't even mention the Ti versions of GTX 1080.) |

Probably you added GPUGrid from BOINCstats or other account manager. ASUS X570 E-Gaming AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, 16 core / 32 thread 4.4 GHz AMD Radeon Sapphire RX 480 4GB Nitro+ Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio 4x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3466 MHz

No, I didn't do that. But bizarrely, when I checked just now, GPUGrid had disappeared from my project list, so I added it manually via BOINC Manager. We'll see what happens now. |
