OK, so given that I can spend about $220 in total, which option is better for GPUgrid? 2 9800GT 512MB cards (EVGA, 512M, stock clock 600) or 1 GTX260 (MSI, 896MB, OC'd to 575 from factory) Mark |

I would say get the GTX260. -support double-precision 64-bit floating point computation -less watts = 182 for gtx260 while 2 9800GT has 210 combined |

Count another vote for the GTX260: - more future proof (64 Bit, more memory, + whatever is included in the higher CUDA hardware capability version number) - slowdown of interactive usage should be (almost?) unnoticeable - current WU times strongly depend on the software config, so it's difficult to tell.. but the GTX260 may actually be a bit faster MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

Vote for 260. - just one PCIe in use. It means in future you could use more 260`s But take 260 Core 216 |
