Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I thought to use my laptop top crunch a few tasks and it has an AMD GPU.

I have the settings selected in the project as,



but do not receive any AMD GPU tasks.

When I look in Boinc at the messages I see,



which says it wants CPU and Intel GPU tasks.

Some projects do include the option for Intel GPU within the "project preferences" and this allows you to exclude them.

Maybe this is a problem with the Boinc manager but anyways it does not seem right to me.

Additional Info: My laptop is a ProBook 4540s from HP and I have received Intel GPU tasks before which I noted just run (slowly) using the CPU as there is no
matching GPU.

I hope this feedback is useful for you and may lead to improving the task distribution or if it is really an issue with the Boinc manager then maybe you know the best way to push this in the right direction.

GPUGRID works with Nvidia GPUs only

This project uses only CUDA, so it does not work with AMD GPUs, even though there is a setting for it.

You need an Nvidia card, but there is no work at the moment; maybe in a month or two.
