on one hand - hard to imagine that the licence expired (as a surprise), after this has happened so many times before; one would assume that by now, someone marks the day IN RED in the calendar, so that steps for licence renewal can be initiated in time.

On the other hand: a minute ago, I noticed that a newly downloaded task works well on Windows XP.
This seems to be a strong indication that indeed the licence for Windows 10 (and also Windows 7/8) expired :-(

Before, if I remember right, it always took several days until the license got renewed.

They are supposed to be updating the software to work with the new Turing cards, that's why the new license for Linux has been taking so long.

That's my take on it anyway.
