Hello,

I received for the first time this message :
28-08-18 18:02:12 | GPUGRID | This computer has finished a daily quota of 4 tasks

My computer usualy calculates 8 long WU per day. Is it a temporary or definitive limitation and for which purpose ?

Regards,

William

I've seen this mystery message as well but I believe I can get more than 4 GPU WUs per computer, if they're available.
Could someone please explain what "This computer has finished a daily quota of 4 tasks" means??? TIA

On the CPU (QC) work units, I have been getting:
"This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress" each time I request work. But it does not prevent me from getting more work, though only one at a time. I have 12 work units in the buffer, and it keeps topping them off. I don't know if this is intended, or a mistake.

What do you have your setting for work units set to? How many day's worth of work do you have it at and how many extra days work??

It is at the default of 0.10 plus 0.50 days.
And I am running four work units at a time, with two cores per work unit on an i7-3770, so all cores are being used.

"This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress"

I think it's intended. I think it's saying given your parameters based on estimated times, these are the max at any one time.

The other one where it says

finished a daily quota

usually occurs after there have been a set number of errors or invalids and the server restricts how many it sends out until the computer in question begins to return valid results.
