Please remember that to run QMML jobs (linux only) you will need to install both the gcc and libc6-dev or glibc-devel (the latter depends on your distribution) packages. |

Does it have to be any specific gcc level? Or does simply having gcc GNU C Compiler with version 4:7.3.0-3ubuntu2 listed as installed suffice? I have the libc6-dev installed already. |

Any gcc version should do. |

Thanks Toni. I'm going to give the new 3.19 application a chance again. |

Thanks Toni. I'm going to give the new 3.19 application a chance again. Version 3.20 is out now, I've only had issues with 3.19, no problems now with 3.20 for me. |

Remind me. What needs to be set in Preferences to get the QC Chemistry app and jobs? I set Use CPU=Yes,QC=Yes and didn't get any work or a download of the new 3.20 app. I thought that QC Chemistry was out of Test now and a regular app. Does Test apps need to be set too? |

We'll run out of WUs overnight but I'll restock them first thing in the morning! Didn't expect you to crunch them so fast this weekend :) |

I'd rather say another attempt. |

Does memory speed noticeably affect compute performance for these CPU Work Units? For my ryzen r7 1700 would I notice a change in WU crunching time between 2400mhz RAM and 3200mhz RAM? |

Good question, for which I don't know the answer. My guess is no. It will not be easy to make the comparison because the WUs are all different from each other. |

How memory intensive are these work units? Are they mostly accessing the cache on the CPU? |
