http://www.gpugrid.net/join.php says gpugrid will run on 1G RAM but 4 is recommended.

I looked at my cruncher today after a long time not paying any attention and I am not getting work. I check the event log and see

Message from server: Quantum Chemistry needs 4768.37 MB RAM but only 1878.95 MB is available for use.

It is an old machine so I have memory to add, but that was a bit of a surprise. You might want to update your system requirements page.

And, is that 4GB per card or 4GB total? The machine has two GTX970's in it.

the Quantum Chemistry WUs are completely CPU based and need 4GB of RAM total, so completely independent of your graphics card. They are relatively new and Linux only for now. But thanks for pointing that out!

I've added ram to a machine and Quant Chem CPU WUs run ok on Linux


But for the past few days all GPU tasks fail on Linux
