I would like to add gpugrid to the existing Texas A&M University team. Alternately, add Texas A&M University to your list of teams. I did find an applet on ps3grid to create a team but I didnt run it as I wanted to confirm that running that applet will allow the existing Texas A&M one to get added.

I'm not sure I understand your problem. In your GPU-Grid account main page there's the option to join a team, if you're currently not in one (so it should be available for you). If you click there's also the option to create a team. Pick the name you want and there you go :)

You need to have the team added to this project.

Contact your team founder and request him to add the team to this project,
or
add it yourself using the 'add team' (ass you mention above) and you will be the founder for the team on this project. To be sure the stats merge for the team, be sure the team name is spelled exactly as it is on other projects.

Finally got the gpugrid to show up at boincstats under the A&M team.

BTW, it was not necessary for the original founder to create team. It just took about 3 days before it showed up and all I needed was the exact spelling of the team name.
