I've got a PNY Geforce GTX 1080 Foundation on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. When I view computers on my GPUGrid.new/hosts_user.php page, this system has "--" for GPU. My other systems have their GPU cards listed. Is this why I'm not getting any GPU work? Any ideas on what's wrong? Thanks. Dave |

Perhaps you've installed the BOINC manager as a service (called "protected mode" by the installer). To fix it you should uninstall the BOINC manager, and then reinstall it without "protected mode" selected. |

Well, at the risk of asking the very obvious... does your 1080 show up in the device list of Windows? Which Nvidia driver is installed at present? (you may enter "devmgmt.msc" to get there) I would love to see HCF1 protein folding and interaction simulations to help my little boy... someday. |

Hi Retvari, Thanks, that was the problem. I'm now running GPUGRID tasks. Dave |
