How many CPU projects are you running and what percentage of the CPU are you allowing BOINC to use? Although GpuGrid is a GPU project it does need a CPU core to work. Kolik projektů CPU používáte a jaké procento CPU dovolíte společnosti BOINC používat? Ačkoli GpuGrid je projekt GPU, potřebuje jádro procesoru k práci. |

I know is GPU, but GPU stop working tiil I manuali change it,,,,,,,,,CPU compution on WCG on openzika and 0,956 CPU + 100% GPU on GPU grid. Athlon x4 860k and GTX 1050, PC is only for computing, so all they is computing and do nothing else. |

This project needs little to no CPU projects to be running to get the maximum usage. Is your GPU overclocked? I've had my card idling overnight due to a slight memory overclock. |

Hello, some time randomly is my GPU (GTX1050) stop working on WU, only CPU is calculating, so I must stop WU and restar WU ... this seems to be the same problem I had experienced with my GTX750Ti on a Windows10 system, after the new crunching software acmed-918-80.exe was issued on April 16 (in fact, also other users had talked about the same problem). As already discussed in some other threads of this forum, this software seems to be faulty to some degree. So, re-starting the WU every once in a while became boring, hence I had quit crunching GPUGRID on that host :-( |

That look like my problem, so now waiting for software update? there won't come a direct update for the current software, since the developper of it has left GPUGRID. As one could read recently in another thread here, they will develop a completely new software, based on OpenGL. However, no timeframe is known yet. |

That look like my problem, so now waiting for software update? Are you running MSI AfterBurner software? If not download it at this site: http://www.guru3d.com/ It will monitor the heat of your card and automatically speed up the fan if needed, it runs on both Nvidia and AMD/ATI cards. Another problem could be your Nvidia software is too new, I'm running version 382.33 while you are running 385.28. I have different model gpu's but mine works and yours doesn't so it's another thing to try. The latest and greatest gpu drivers are not always the best as it takes time for each Project to test and adapt their software to work with it. Now if you game of course you want the latest and greatest drivers but that's a chance you have to take. |

mikey, What application versions of GPUGrid are you running without problem? Instead of blaming the newer drivers for being buggy, I'm proposing that the newer drivers end up using a newer GPUGrid app version that is buggy. Details matter. See if you can dig some more. |
