Yesterday and today I've had this message "locked by file_upload_handler" on two different tasks.

I had not seen this issue until yesterday.

If anyone else sees this and is using BoincTasks, when the upload stalls the progress bar goes to zero. This makes it seem like the upload will have to start from the beginning, but don't worry. It will pick up where it left off.

Again I was uploading two tasks at the same time and the other one didn't have a problem. You can see it finished at line 209.

This looks like process with PID 99517 is stuck on the server.
If the process is still running it would be vise to see what it is doing (with strace), see if there are any kernel errors and kill the process.

No problems with today's uploads other than when the server went down briefly. Hopefully this was just a random and intermittent problem. Since no one else has mentioned seeing this I won't post about it again unless something changes.

I have experienced uploads stalling for the third time since yesterday. BOINC error messages as follows:

this seems to be a new problem now, after the download problem was solved a few days ago :-(

the problem is still persisting.
Are the people at GPUGRID looking into it?

Anyone any idea what's going on?

I just got this error again.

I generated the problem by switching Wifi access points.
My original upload was taking a silly amount of time, so I switched to the WAP with the faster upload speed. Faster to start at the beginning than to wait an additional 20 minutes on that first connection.

Then the GPU server started refusing the file.

I've tried waiting a few minutes -- same error.
