ZLUDA is a drop-in replacement for CUDA on non-NVIDIA GPUs. ZLUDA allows running unmodified CUDA applications using non-NVIDIA GPUs with near-native performance

ZLUDA was met with legal battles/threats from AMD.

the current iteration of ZLUDA (that you linked to) is basically the original dev of zluda starting over from scratch and basically nothing works. the def seems focusd on AI tools and frameworks and is unlikely to port general use case scenarios unless you provide him specific debugging outputs.

the previous implementation of ZLUDA that did work to some extent and was widely reported on, has been removed. there are some forks of the older code floating around, but in my testing, those also dont really work properly and don't support more modern CUDA versions.

after nearly a decade barking up this tree, it's probably time to just accept that GPUGRID wont be ported to other platforms unless you offer to do it yourself and for free.
