Is anyone else having a problem uploading or is it just me?

about 2 hours ago, when uploading a finished task, I noticed that the upload speed was drastically lower than what it normally would be.

I'm getting the message "[error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space" in the event log.

There's usually a reason behind it when multiple users report "Can't upload" :)

during the day, a few uploads worked fine. But since a few hours, the problem exists again.
What's going on ?

and the bad thing is: as long as uploads are queued in the "pending" status, no new WUs are being downloaded. The BOINC event log says "the computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress" :-(

Well this answers what I came here to ask. Another waiting game. Glad we had enough work to fill the servers though! Better than no work and empty upload servers (as long as the time to upload does not exceed the time to complete and we all run into the multiple WU thing for credit and double work release.) ;-)

Perhaps surprisingly, all my tasks have uploaded by themselves in the small hours of the morning, European time (both nights). Since the server is in Europe, that doesn't suggest manual intervention - perhaps whatever process deals with the returned data was running, but slowly.

Anyway, they have a chance to look at the problem now - I imagine they would do that before clogging the system up with any more new work.

It's been the same for me. I'm thinking of a scheduled cleanup process running in the night. It may have cleared just enough disk space to get us through the next day.
If manual intervention is needed, now would be the time to do it. Weekend is near and still no indication of the issue been noticed.

Looks like somebody has intervened - by loading new tasks! Could be another bumpy weekend.

Since this morning, I have noticed a markedly reduced speed with which finished WUs are being uploaded to the server.

Same thing was true about a week ago short time before no uploads were possible because of "no disk-space available" (at GPUGRID servers).

Hope that the same problem won't recurr within the next few hours/days.

The downloads are better. I haven't seen the usual ten-minutes hangs that I normally get with each work unit. So I think they fixed something on their server, or router or whatever.

But I haven't paid much attention to the uploads yet, and will have to look.
