Yep. That is so true. My GTX 980ti works quite well for long running work units. I was just wondering if they had discontinued the short running ones. The long ones run just fine. Might just stick with them.

I have been doing the longs on my weak cards, but set my strong cards to only do longs at all times. I set the weaker ones to do the shorts when they are avail. If only we had shorts AND everyone set their strong cards to allow the weaker ones to have the short tasks, we'd be better off when we do get them.

Run Time: 9hrs 35min 19sec.

GeForce GTX 980ti 6GB. Stock clocks.

Yup, that sounds right and completely average for my 980 cards too. My 980TI Classifieds run just a bit faster than that. That is about the same time for GERRARDs, ADRIAs, and GIANNI A2s. And the GIANNI D3s will run in just under 24 hours on that card and about 20-21 on mine. The 5 day maximum is in no danger of missing at all.
