Sorry, I realise that there are many of these out there, but I still can not get my PC to pick up tasks. I have set the storage of tasks to 1 day min with 0.5 additional. My log is below: 09/02/2016 18:04:32 | | [work_fetch] Request work fetch: Backoff ended for GPUGRID 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- start work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] target work buffer: 86400.00 + 43200.00 sec 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] --- project states --- 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] REC 0.000 prio -0.000 can request work 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for CPU --- 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 113764.21 nidle 0.00 saturated 95095.24 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.125 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for NVIDIA GPU --- 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 77840.44 nidle 0.00 saturated 89653.35 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.250 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- end work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] No project chosen for work fetch 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- start work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] target work buffer: 86400.00 + 43200.00 sec 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] --- project states --- 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] REC 0.000 prio -0.000 can request work 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for CPU --- 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 114071.90 nidle 0.00 saturated 95091.32 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.125 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for NVIDIA GPU --- 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 78115.12 nidle 0.00 saturated 89447.19 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.250 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- end work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:05:36 | | [work_fetch] No project chosen for work fetch 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- start work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] target work buffer: 86400.00 + 43200.00 sec 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] --- project states --- 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] REC 0.000 prio -0.000 can request work 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for CPU --- 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 114386.59 nidle 0.00 saturated 94899.04 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.125 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] --- state for NVIDIA GPU --- 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] shortfall 78447.45 nidle 0.00 saturated 89215.75 busy 0.00 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | GPUGRID | [work_fetch] share 0.250 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] ------- end work fetch state ------- 09/02/2016 18:06:36 | | [work_fetch] No project chosen for work fetch The last line is odd - what does this mean? Your target work buffer is: Store 1 day of work minimum, and up to 0.5 days additional: 09/02/2016 18:04:36 | | [work_fetch] target work buffer: 86400.00 + 43200.00 sec Your NVIDIA status shows that your "saturated" value was already above your minimum setting of 1-day. Hi all, here something similar on Linux 2.6.32, CUDA 7.5, BOINC 7.2.42 and drivers 352.63. I cannot understand why I'm not able to get new WUs and who and when had set the daily quota. The server status page reports, now, 331 Long Runs WUs ready to be sent. You are returning errors for every single task that you download and the server has decided to stop sending you any more for today, please try checking your logs, apparently you are missing a required file ... ../../projects/www.gpugrid.net/acemd.848-65.bin: /lib64/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found Once you have this fixed you will need to wait until tomorrow to get a new task but then you should be all set. Thanks - Steve |

As a reminder, you can view your tasks and completion statusus right here on this website, in your account. And, at the bottom, the "stderr.txt" portion describes what happened during the task's execution, including any errors! |

Paul: "Don't need" typically means that your GPUs are busy working on other projects, and you don't need additional work from the project you are contacting. If you want additional work fetch details, you'll need to go the Advanced View, find the "Event Log Options", and turn on "work_fetch_debug", and inspect the Event Log for details. It's likely that your GPUs have enough work, and your GPUs are saturated for a time that's larger than your cache settings. Read through the first 3 posts of this thread, to understand more. |

My pcs are not receiving units from several days ago, when I try to download units manually this happens: 2/5/2016 12:19:36 | GPUGRID | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 2/5/2016 12:19:36 | GPUGRID | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU 2/5/2016 12:19:38 | GPUGRID | update requested by user 2/5/2016 12:19:40 | GPUGRID | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 2/5/2016 12:19:40 | GPUGRID | No tasks sent 2/5/2016 12:19:40 | GPUGRID | Project has no tasks available 2/5/2016 12:20:15 | GPUGRID | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 2/5/2016 12:20:15 | GPUGRID | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU 2/5/2016 12:20:19 | GPUGRID | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 2/5/2016 12:20:19 | GPUGRID | No tasks sent 2/5/2016 12:20:19 | GPUGRID | Project has no tasks available I've seen that GPUGRID continues to add credits in BOINCstats so I assume that other users are still receiving units. Why my pcs not receive units? I have not changed any settings in the last days, everything is as before. |

Sorry, the reason you can't new tasks is that there are none. Look on the "Server Status" page for an idea of what I mean. Link on top right. There will be full amount of WU's in 6 weeks or so until then its crumbs off the table. |

The server status page also shows the number of 'tasks in progress' - 360 as I type. Every time that number goes down, it means somebody has returned a task and (presumably) been awarded credit for it. Additional credit appearing in BOINCstats means that old work is being returned, not that new work is being sent out. |
