Can't disable CPU in preferences

The uppermost "Use CPU" setting is the one you should set to "no". It overrides the lower one, which for some reason cannot be disabled. Another option, is to disable those applications you do not wish to run. It's also possible to have different preferences for different venues, like "Home", "default" and so forth. Why the lower CPU setting cannot be disabled, is not known to me. Maybe as Betting Slip said earlier, GPU tasks have to use some CPU cycles, so this setting is required.
