I run three dedicated machines. One of them (the slowest) is an Intel D525MW board (Atom dual core with Hyperthreading). Some people use them as a web server or to run Pi. The chip only gets to about 109F and uses 13 watts peak.

It finishes most tasks in a reasonable amount of time. I only have it crunching real world apps (no number theory or space related projects).
