BOINC say it can not detect a suitable GPU. Strange, is HD6850 not compatible? I use the proprietary driver and have associated fglrx-opencl package installed. OS: Linux Mageia 5, 64 bit. Good idea ... but alas! Poem has closed and GPUGRID apparently doesnt support AMD GPUs at present. So all you could do now in order to fold Proteins is joining Folding@Home. I had an RX460 for a while for testing purposes and it worked quite well here. I would love to see HCF1 protein folding and interaction simulations to help my little boy... someday.
