I'm using a GTX 550 Ti for 22/24 operation at GPUGRID since the begining of the year into a little dedicated computer running in background.

(Since January my other card is a R9 270X, very interesting performance/price ratio but no GPUGrid application)

16,300,000 Work done by the GTX 550 Ti, so much better than putting this card into a cupboard ;) Because of the power consumption the red becomes brown on this card (it really works at at full throttle, the best way to use this card entirely !)

But now (today and yesterday) it seems that my computer is not doing any work anymore (list of task is empty). I noticed that beceause no noise anymore and cold wind behind the computer case.

Do you know if it's normal ? Is my GTX too weak compared to 99% users ? Or is it going to start again ?

In the event manager, I can see BOINC asking for work but no work is given.
I think that because of last update, I have to put this card on another project !

I also see that, 2 or 3 days ago, a new version of Cuda (6.5) is used.

Thank you for your message (it's a chance I see it !)

My computer was running Asteroid@Home this last day, I set it to "No more work" and I will restart GPUGrid in the morning (when the 2 last Asteroids works in queue will be done).

Asteroids shapes doesn't helps life on earth as much as biomedicine ;)
