I am clearing all my queue's as I will do hardware changes later today.
Now I see that I have six tasks in progress at project's page, but in my tasks list in the BOINC manager I have only 4 (two on every PC). How is this possible?

Ghost units...the Server thinks it sent you units but your local software says no you didn't, they will time out and get sent to someone else. It happens occasionally and you can safely ignore them.

Not quite similar, that goes about pending WU's so jobs that have finished.
My post is about jobs I do not have, so they are not started, not finished and not pending.
But, true it all could be related to the same sort of database problem.

Perhaps Boinc Manager is only showing active (running/in progress) tasks?

If so, from Boinc Manager (Advanced View), click Tasks and select Show All Tasks.
If the option is 'Show Active Tasks' then that isn't the issue.

No that is not the issue, I have it set to see all WU, in progress and reasy to start. But these "spooky" WU's have errored out already with: Timed out - no response. Perhaps server hick up?
