I'm guessing it means somebody's crunching GPUgrid and maybe SETI too on a stack of Parallelas. Damn! I knew I should have ordered a dozen of them.

I was wondering how long it would take for people to notice :).

We have a test application for Android, download the boinc client on your phone and it should work.
At the moment it lasts for 1 sec, but we hope to replace it with a proper science app soon.

The new boinc app from the google store is quite good, I would recommend it.

I have seen it yesterday, and I was wondering what it is for? As I have already installed BOINC on my Ssmsung S3 phone I just connected it with GPUGRID. By the way, it works great with primegrid for more as a month now. Just to animate others to download it as well.

Will this also be available for regular CPU?

Just tried a few of the android tasks on a Nexus 7. They all errored out with an http error trying to download input.dat. Let me know if you need more info.

Oh there is an error in my first post: It is not primegrid, it is Einstein.

Can you tell me the way it did not work, so that I can report it.

I was just being stupid! I clicked add a project but then an icon to 'Add account manager' instead of the + sign. From there I tried to add GPUGRID! I was presented with a screen to enter my account details so I turned the phone on its side to enter text more easily, and that changed the view removing the page title before I read it. The title was 'Add account manager'.

Same here as well. 16 tasks errored out and one task successfully completed.

So far I have only received 1 Android task. Run on android only v1.06
It failed after 18min with the following output,

1.06 was completing correctly but then not putting its results in the right place. 1.07 fixes that.

First it was there and I added the project, but it wouldn't download any tasks. I thought I'd remove/re-add the project to see if that fixed anything but now it doesn't even show up in the list of projects.

You may not have noticed - I've been testing a new version of our CPU app on Windows (since that's the most difficult platform to work with). Once I've checked out the results of the test work, the app will be rolled out to Linux and Android platforms too.

Shortly thereafter we'll run a lot of test WUs through it before starting to use it for research work.

I am pretty sure I missed something, but I am not getting any GPUGRID Work on my ANDROID for weeks, I assumed it is because I crunch Einstein WUs, and GPUGRID cannot get in-between. [Edit] It was the in between thing, got two WUs from GPUGRID at this moment. [Edit]

Then I had the great idea to plug-in my USB–Precise Puppy Linux–MemoStick in one unused computer (I just managed to install once BOINC on it, don't ask me how), but I cannot get work either, I get now the following message: “ Message from Server: No task are available for CPU only app”. PRIMEGRID works though.

Although I looked for it, are this CPU only task at the moment only for Windows? Server Stats says 203,000, so I thought you might want some help:-)
