I just found some GT 520's for $20 each. Brand new overstock/discontinued.

Will this card work for GPU Grid?

EVGA GeForce GT 520

Part Number: 01G-P3-1523-KR
Core Clock Speed: 810MHz
CUDA Cores: 48
Memory Clock Speed: 1794MHz
Memory Bandwidth: 14.3GB/sec
Shader Clock Speed: 1620MHz
Bus: PCI-E 2.0
Interface: DVI-I, HDMI, VGA
Product Warranty: 3 year warranty
Product Length: 5.7in - 144.8mm

If it will I am thinking of putting four of them into a old 3 GHz Core Duo system. I will probably have to upgrade the PSU but beyond that I should be good to go. Any thoughts or recommendations?

It won't work.
See the FAQ - Recommended GPUs for GPUGrid crunching.
A general advice for everyone thinking about doing something similar:
Don't put 4 slower cards in a PC instead of one faster.
Outdated cards are inadequate for crunching (at least for GPUGrid). They are slow and inefficient, while this project has very short deadlines.

Thanks for the reply. You just provided back up to what some one my Crunching team pointed out. Those older cards are just too slow for the job. I may just have to pick up another GTX 680 like I have. Assuming I can even find one.

You are better off spending $100 on a GTX 650 at the least. (380 Cuda Cores)
The GT 240 I had and the 430/620 I have at least had 96 Cuda Core
