8500 GT too slow?

However, first WU is only to be finished after an estimated 120 hr, which is out of 96 hr deadline. Or is the estimated time not linear? Can the deadline be extended or should i give up? But now I know what to look for in my next PC Happy crunching Alain 8500GT is fine for folding@home and it uses hardley any CPU.
