Are there any new short runs to be expected in the next week? If not, I might switch my GT 650M to Einstein for the time being, since long runs are quite a bit of a crunch for this medium range mobile GPU. Thanks in advance for any insight. There are some planned for sending out today. There is a chance they will be delayed for tomorrow as the group member is still not in today. |

If not, I might switch my GT 650M to Einstein for the time being, since long runs are quite a bit of a crunch for this medium range mobile GPU. I suggest that you put your planner 95% GPU 5% Einstein, this way you don't have to worry to swicth from one proyect to the other. If there's no work you will crunch Einstein units. |

Thanks, Stefan, for the quick reply. I set Einstein as backup to 0%, which means it will only load one workunit if no other work is available. I don't want to crunch more Einstein than necessary due to the up-/download volume per hour. The month is nearing its end and so is my volume limit (as it should be). ;) |

No, since two years I'm using a LTE connection via stationary router, the first decent connection available in this rural area (small village, pop. ~1060). We have no cable available, dsl only w/ bad quality and low speed, so LTE is the best you can get here currently (well, I heard they offer some Wifi access too, but that requires additional hardware outside of the house/flat). A volume of 20 GB per month is included, additional 20 GB can be purchased separately and repeatedly (which I rarely use). The good thing is that I can carry my LTE connection with me when traveling, by moving the SIM-card from the router into a stick. :) Regards |
